Champion For Nature @ South Texas Fair

Champions For Nature is an educational section within the Fair that hosts many booths for many different nature-related organizations, including Texas State Parks, Game Wardens, Big Thicket Association, 2 chapters of the Texas Master Naturalists, the Golden Triangle Sierra Club, and more!
Volunteers are needed at our Longleaf Ridge Master Naturalist booth. This year we will have a kid’s activity: Leaf Rubbings. It is a very simple activity that anyone can teach. More ideas for future years are welcome!
Saturday hours are 8am – ?
Sunday hours are 12pm – 6pm
