Golden Triangle Sierra Club will have presenters at their monthly meeting to talk about Village Creek State Park. The park superintendent, lead ranger, and office manager will tag team to share with us the history, flora and fauna of the park, improvements and amenities over the last 2 years, volunteer opportunities, paddling and prescribed burns.
This meeting can be attended in person or via Zoom.
Contact Penny Lanham or Lori Horne to receive a copy of the email with the Zoom meeting link. To join the meeting with audio-only by phone: +13462487799 (Meeting ID 963 4769 0655)
In October, they will also have a presentation that could be interesting to TMN members: Sandi Schwartz will present “Why Environmental Volunteering is Good for Health and Happiness.”
