LRMN at South Texas State Fair

The South Texas Fair is like a smaller version of our Texas State Fair, with carnival rides, food vendors, rodeo, livestock show, petting zoo, and booths for businesses and organizations of all kinds.
The Texas Master Naturalist Chapters, Longleaf Ridge and Sabine-Neches, will both have a booth over the WEEKEND OF APRIL 2-3 during the fair. Many similar organizations should be joining us in a mini “Conservation Conference.” This is a great opportunity for Public Outreach (to inform the public about TMN programs and teach general conservation practices). Volunteering for this booth will earn you service hours and give you a chance to meet members of our sister chapter. If you are interested, contact Lori at lorihorne1965@gmail.com or (409)-238-0263.
