“Join us for another in our Lunch & Learn series, this month featuring the Raptor Population Index, RPI. RPI is a collaborative effort to understand and share trends & conservation status of migratory raptors in North America, continent-wide and regionally. The 2019 analysis and what the collaborative group has learned from nearly 9 million raptors counted over 40,000 hours of migration monitoring across 73 sites will be shared.
Join Dr. Dave Oleyar, Director of Long-term Monitoring and Community Science at HawkWatch International for an informative look into RPI. Dave is excited to share the most recent findings from this partnership between HMANA, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Birds Canada, and HawkWatch International and where the team is going in the future.”
