The mission of the Texas Master Naturalist program is to develop and certify a group of well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated toward the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas in our communities. Each year, we earn our TMN certification with at least 40 hours of volunteer service and 8 hours of advanced training.
The Red River Chapter of Texas Master Naturalist serves Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Lamar, Morris, Red River, and Titus Counties. Our members elect to participate in volunteer projects, each according to their own schedule, in a field of interest that appeals to them. We often find that we have so much fun being surrounded by like-minded individuals, that the volunteer hours are easily accomplished and we look forward to the next opportunity!
