NETT / Chaparral Rail Trail Kiosk Workday

Where: Meet at trailhead just North of Ben Franklin,Tx post office (828 FM 38) FM 38 goes south from Roxton, Tx. and trailhead / post office is on the right just a little ways past the North Sulphur River bridge into Delta County.
What: Plans are to assemble pre-cut wooden parts of the Kiosk, dig post holes to mount Kiosk and mix and pour concrete around posts and secure finished Kiosk upright. As time permits, clean up the trailhead near Kiosk, cut (weed-eat) old grass and remove discarded tree branches.
Materials: Kevin will supply all pre-cut parts and tools for assembly, concrete, water, and mixing buckets. Just need willing volunteer labor and help.
Additional Info: Dress appropriately for weather, bring gloves and water. For those that can stay longer, bring a sack lunch and stay for Kevin’s guided hike on the trail going west.
