Horned Lizard Survey

Horned Lizard Surveys at 3Rivers Foundation and Copper Breaks State Park. Meet at Atwood’s parking lot at 6:00 am. Park by Loop 11, near Carl’s Jr (look for Lynn’s red Elantra). Car pool or drive your own vehicle. Will leave at 6:15 am and arrive at 3Rivers about 8:00 am. Participants will need $8 in cash for each person to enter 3Rivers. Survey at 3Rivers finishes about 9:30 am. Then travel to Copper Breaks State Park ($3.00 park fee per person applies, unless you have a park pass). Plan to return to Wichita Falls about 3:00 pm.
Contact Lynn (or text her at 940-867-3006) if you plan to attend, so she can make sure you meet up, or in case of changes. Bring water, hat, appropriate outdoor gear. Closed toed shoes a must (lots of prickly things out there). You don’t have to do the surveys at both places. You can do either 3Rivers or Copper Breaks, or both, but be sure to let Lynn know if you leave early or will be coming late.
