Public Monthly Hike – Lake Abilene

Join us the first Saturday of every month for our monthly public hike. Join some of our Big Country Master Naturalist as we lead a hike through the trails at Lake Abilene.  Be sure to check in at the park office then meet us a mile up the road at the Lake Abilene parking lot at 9am. We take a casual hike for roughly 3 hours covered about 5 miles. The hike is an in an out and you can turn around at any time. Due to scheduling conflicts at the lake, we sometimes have to hike on the park side. Be sure to check in at the park office first to find out for sure which side the hike will be on.
