Advanced Training Guidelines
Advanced training is to provide members of the Cross Timbers Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists an opportunity to broaden their knowledge with topics of personal interest and tools to work in more advanced volunteer efforts.
Advanced Training Hours
- 1 AT Hour per hour of education
- Travel Time not included for AT
- CTMN Monthly Meetings count as 1 AT Hour

Approval for Unlisted Opportunities
- IMPORTANT: Opportunity must be approved prior to attending the class
- The Training Must:
1. Promote continued learning and development of naturalist skills.
2. Provide knowledge and skills to work in volunteer efforts relevant to the overall mission of the
Texas Master Naturalist program.
3. Be based on research-based scientific principles.
4. Discuss natural resource and/or management information pertinent to Tarrant and Parker
Counties, and more generally, to Texas.

- Choose CATEGORY based on Opportunity Category and Description
- All approved projects are listed. Not listed check with the Records Committee before entering hours.
- Volunteer Hours do not have the _AT or AT in front of the opportunity
** Volunteer and AT Hours must be reported within 45 days of the date performed.
