Advanced training provides members an opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills to work in more advanced volunteer efforts.
Advanced Training Hours
- 1 AT Hour per hour of education
- Travel Time not included for AT
- CTMN Monthly Meetings count as 1 AT Hour

Approval for Unlisted Opportunities
- IMPORTANT: Opportunity must be approved prior to attending the class
- The Training Must:
1. Promote continued learning and development of naturalist skills.
2. Provide knowledge and skills to work in volunteer efforts relevant to the overall mission of the
Texas Master Naturalist program.
3. Be based on research-based scientific principles.
4. Discuss natural resource and/or management information pertinent to Tarrant and Parker
Counties, and more generally, to Texas.
Volunteer Hours

Volunteers provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas.
