On the Second Tuesday of each month at the noon hour (12PM Central Standard Time), the TMN State Office will offer an hour-long virtual advanced training event (sometimes including some fantastic new and returning guest speakers).

The Texas Master Naturalist Program is happy to announce a new mini-webinar series, “Be The Change”, dedicated to exploring diversity, equity & inclusion opportunities in our natural resource and conservation community. Just as the natural world thrives with biodiversity, our Texas Master Naturalist Program is dedicated to engaging all audiences in conservation, education and stewardship.

John Findeisen, team leader for TPWD’s Brookland Aquatic Invasive Species/ Aquatic Habitat Enhancement Team, will talk about invasive plants (such as Giant Salvinia and Common Salvinia) and how they are being managed, invasive mussels, and non-native fish introductions.
