Chapter Project: Adopt-A-Loop for 4 Loops on the Great Texas Wildlife Trail
Great Texas Wildlife Trail Prairies and Pineywoods East
We are going on a big adventure! Since the Great Texas Wildlife Trails began back in 1996 there hasn’t been an organized approach to record what flora and fauna can be observed at each of the sites. Project Coordinators for each loop will be responsible for annual paperwork/interview with site owners verifying web site information is correct but the iNaturalist and eBird nature observations, at least one per season at each site is a challenge for all in the chapter who want to help.
We will talk about which loops our chapter has agreed to adopt and the many sites along each loop!
Joshua Lee, TPWD, will join us to answer any questions about how our data will be used!
