GCMN – Rice University Prairie Plots Planting

Please join us for a volunteer planting day at a new prairie garden on Rice’s campus (see more info below). We will be planting over 500 plants for a 10,000 sf prairie garden next to the James Turrell Sky Space on Wednesday May 18 from 8am-2pm (exact location here). Helping hands for any portion of time are appreciated!
Please RSVP if you plan to attend. We recommend that you bring a pair of gloves, appropriate work shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and if you have them, a bucket and shovel! We will do our best to provide tools as needed, but we may have a limited quantity.
Parking: There are a number of parking options shown on this campus map; the cheapest being the Greenbriar Lot. Please indicate in your RSVP if you would like a parking voucher, we will be able to provide a limited number of vouchers.
