This presentation will cover educating the public about this vitally important and often misunderstood animal.
Diana Foss Bio:
Urban Biologist, Texas Parks and Wildlife Diana has a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Science from Texas A&M. Wildlife Biologist, Urban Wildlife Program, Texas Parks and Wildlife for 20 years. Also currently coordinates the “Houston Bat Team”, a group of community volunteers dedicated to education and research about bats. These volunteers give education programs, monthly “Bat Chats” at Waugh Drive Bridge, and monitor bat populations in the greater Houston area. Also, bat-related, Diana is a member of Texas Bat Working Group.
