Gulf Coast Bird Observatory staff are still working on trails and grounds at out Lake Jackson headquarters from Beryl hurricane damage… but we also need to do some work at the Quintana Neotropic Bird Sanctuary! Please come join our staff on Thursday, August 1st down at Quintana for a morning of trimming trails, cutting branches, cleaning ponds, and such! We would love your help! THANK YOU!

8:00am – as long as want/can
Bring the following:
Sturdy shoes and work clothes
Gloves
Loppers, rakes, saws, etc
Bug spray
Water
Expect:
Warm and muggy
Mosquitos
Mud
Fun Fun Fun!!
PS: most of our headquarter trails still need much work. You are welcome to come any day and do whatever amount of trail clearing you can any time in the next week or two! We have tools in the garage. Just let me know so we know you’re out there, and where you are/were working.
