Gulf Coast Bird Observatory – Beach Cleanup

As part of our SPLASh program (Stopping Plastics and Litter Along Shorelines), we organize monthly beach cleanups to make a safer environment for wildlife and people. In the next few months, we will doing a cleanup first at the boat ramp along Thunder Road in Surfside, then at San Luis Pass. If you’d like to volunteer at either cleanup please register below.

Trash bags, gloves and grabbers will be provided, but please bring your own water bottle. There are sharp objects such as glass and hooks on the beach, so please wear closed-toed shoes.
