Ages 12+
November to February is the best time to plant trees in Houston. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn best practices for tree planting: how to pick the right location, prepping the site, digging the right hole, and post-planting care to give the trees you plant the best chance at survival. Weather permitting, you’ll even get to hone your skills by planting a tree at the Arboretum!
Class will be held rain or shine. Please dress for the weather
