Katy Prairie – Seed Collecting

If the location is the UH Coastal Center, we will go into the locked gate together at 9am. Please bring signed KPC liability release and Covid-19 waiver if you do not have one on file from the past year. Register here.
- Everyone is welcome!
- You may collect seeds for KPC, for any other non-profit organization, or for your own personal use
- If you have them, please bring a reusable water bottle, pruners or scissors, pen, and a bucket or reusable grocery bag. Some supplies are available if needed.
- Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and long-sleeved shirt. We recommend you bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, snacks for yourself, camera, and binoculars (if you’re a birder)
- Paper bags for the seeds to be collected and water refills are available
