Please join us for the start of a semiannual tradition of two large workdays at Deer Park Prairie, one in spring and one in Fall!

Fall is a beautiful time at Deer Park. This event is a great opportunity to get involved in hands-on conservation efforts, no matter your level of experience. Volunteers are welcome to join for as much or as little time as they can.
Here’s the general timeline:

• 8:00–8:30 AM: Gather for coffee and a light breakfast
• 12:00 PM: Break for lunch, provided by NPAT
• 4:00 PM: Optional prairie walk for those who wish to stay

The day’s focus will be on two high-priority projects: clearing woody debris from last year’s motte removal and cleaning up along the west fence line. This work will really support our ongoing restoration efforts, and we’re very grateful for all volunteer support.

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, and protect yourself from the sun. All necessary tools will be provided.
