Fall is a beautiful time at Deer Park. This event is a great opportunity to get involved in hands-on conservation efforts, no matter your level of experience. Volunteers are welcome to join for as much or as little time as they can.
Here’s the general timeline:
The day’s focus will be on two high-priority projects: clearing woody debris from last year’s motte removal and cleaning up along the west fence line. This work will really support our ongoing restoration efforts, and we’re very grateful for all volunteer support.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, and protect yourself from the sun. All necessary tools will be provided.
