This event is FREE. Please register to reserve your seat. A small donation is requested to cover the rental of the Dining Hall. Wear clothing suitable for hiking and bring your brown bag lunch & refillable water container. Thank you!
Carol Clark is an amateur botany enthusiast, a Texas Master Naturalist, and longtime member of the Native Plant Society of Texas. She and her husbnd own and operate Clark Haven, a wildlife preserve and custom wildflower seed business in Cooke County. Learn about the challenges all bee species are facing, why bees matter to all of us & facts about solitary native bees and they lifestyle.
The second workshop will reveal the secrets of growning healthy & attractive native prairie plants from our regions best grower – Mark Morgenstern. There are two post-workshop field trips after Brown Bag lunch. 1:00 Tour of Morning Star Prairie Plants nursery and 2:30 Tour of Nash Prairie.
