WHERE: Adjacent to 9022 Willow Meadow Drive, Houston, Texas 77031
SERVICE: Volunteers will assist with the initial setup, staffing and ultimate breakdown of a combined GCTMN / NPSOT-H booth which will serve as a place of outreach focus for our chapter during this Friends of Keegans Bayou and Neighborhoods to Trails SW hosted event to help attendees celebrate recent improvements to the more natural areas adjacent to their southwest Houston neighborhoods. Other like-minded booths will be present and participate in the event. The messaging of our booth for this year’s event will be to provide general information about our Texas Master Naturalist chapter. Further, information about the State’s Master Naturalist program and the role of informed volunteers in our mission will be shared. Our booth will be outdoors. Please plan to bring your hat, sunscreen and a personal folding chair. If you have questions about the event and / or your planned volunteer outreach service, please contact David Gwin, Outreach & Communications, GCTMN at david.gwin@txgcmn.org.
