SERVICE: Volunteers will assist with the initial setup, staffing and ultimate breakdown of a GCTMN / NPSOT-H booth which will serve as a place of outreach focus for both chapters during this Houston Parks Board hosted event to celebrate all things ART BIKE! Cultural performances and popular games will also be provided. The messaging of our booth for this event will be to provide general information about our Texas Master Naturalist / NPSOT chapters and how attendees can get more involved in natural resource stewardship and sustainability in our community. Further, information about the State’s Texas Master Naturalist program and the role of informed volunteers in our mission will be shared. Our booth will be outdoors, so please plan to bring your hat, sunscreen and a folding chair.
