Texas Folsom Fluted Point Survey
As our January speaker, we welcome lithic analyst and Paleolithic researcher Dr. Alan Slade, who will present a program on the Texas Folsom Fluted Point Survey. In 1985, David Meltzer of Southern Methodist University (SMU) initiated a survey of Clovis fluted points in Texas (TCFPS). That survey continues to the present under the control and curation of staff at the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory (TARL).
