FREE WATERSHED STEWARDS TRAINING EVENT IN THE CLEAR CREEK WATERSHED

On April 5th, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a free Texas Watershed Steward workshop in Pearland. Water quality related to Clear Creek, along with land and watershed management, will be discussed. Topics will include water quality, water quality law, agricultural and urban best management practices, hydrology, and others. The event and its available continuing education credits are free and open to the public. In-person and virtual attendance options are available. Preregistration is required for either attendance option (link provided below). The professional continuing education credits offered are applicable to, but are not limited to, certified crop advisors, Texas Department of Agriculture private pesticide license holders (3 general CEUs), professional engineers, certified planers, professional geoscientists, certified teachers, certified floodplain managers, and select TCEQ occupational license holders.

The Texas Watershed Steward workshop will take place from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Tuesday, April 5th at the Delores Fenwick Nature Center at the John Hargrove Environmental Complex, located at 5750 Magnolia Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77584.
