“The Grassroom” at Kolter Elementary School is a garden area incorporating Pocket Prairies, Pollinator Gardens, raised beds and orchards. We are very interested in involving the Greater Houston Community. Every first Saturday, from 9-12, students, parents, Middle School and High School Honor Society students plus scouts all volunteer. We would like to use our school’s wonderful gardens to teach the community. It would be great for Master Naturalists to help share how to care for Native plants and why it is so important.

Lake Wilderness Houston Monthly bird hike. Come volunteer to help us identify birds!   This will be recorded as Houston Parks - Data Collection only if the bird IDs are recorded to eBird or some other tracking system.  Include location, sponsoring entity and service performed when recording your time in VMS.
