Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge – Hiking the Artist Way

Register through the Friends of Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge event page.  Holly Morris is a graduate of guided BCNWF hike leader program and will be leading this hike on March 2 and March 30 on the BCNWR Doeskin Trail.  This special hike will go at a slower pace and is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.  We will hike with an artist eye and discuss artist principles from the beautiful landscape such as composition, value, light and color.  We will stop along the way for some nature journaling and sketching.  No supplies needed – small sketchbook and markmaking materials provided to all those registered.  Here’s the link for more information and if interested:  https://www.friendsofbalcones.org/event-5568179   Thanks!  Holly Morris
