Bamberger Ranch Preserve – Ranch Docent

While this event is largely a self-guided hike, volunteers are needed to serve as docents for the ranch.  Duties would include answering questions about the ranch, plants, and animals as well as helping hikers choose which path to take among the 6.5 miles of trails.  Volunteers are asked to arrive around 8:30 am and are welcome to hike the trails themselves.  If you can only volunteer in the either the morning or the afternoon, just let me know.  I would recommend photographers bring their cameras to capture the vibrant seasonal colors.  There are over 400 bigtooth maples that should be showing bright yellow, orange, or red leaves at that time.
