Blanco S.P. is hosting a Lookout for the Trout Festival on Saturday, January 27th , and we’re requesting some volunteers to help support the event. We are planning for 8 educational stations (listed Below), that will need to be staffed, either to assist or to demonstrate a skill. Volunteer Time: 9am to 1pm
We have several members that have already expressed an interest, but would like to have another 7-8 volunteers. For those that have taken the Angler Education program, this will qualify for your certification time if needed. Supplies needed are on order and will be provided to the guests, if you have an interest in a particular station, please let us know.Note: Because Blanco S.P. has property on both sides of the Blanco River, a state fishing license is not required. A Rainbow Trout stocking activity is scheduled to happen the week prior to our event.
