Cooper Springs Nature Park – Workday

Hi all. Barbara Adams and Harold Clary of Lampasas have planned a work day for Friday, 11/22, at Cooper Springs Nature Park located at 100 Hackberry in Lampasas, Tx. Volunteers are needed to help maintain this beautiful park and to plant wildflower seeds by deadline.

Date:  Friday, 11/22/24

Time Range: 9:00-noon

Jobs/Activities:

1) Planting wildflower seeds in erosion control areas.

2) Trash pickup in (mostly)dry creek bed and along outer fence

3) Clearing rocks and branches so an area can be mowed with a tractor.

4) Removing weeds from gravel trails and around benches

What to Bring:

Sturdy garden rake

Weeding/gardening hand tools

Protective clothing/gloves

Sun protection

Water
