Pedernales Falls State Park: Hikes and activities

About 40 students, ages 8- 11, will visit the park. From their first stop, hike guides are needed to lead two groups to the Falls, point out fossils and talk about the habitat, river and wildlife. Time: 9:30-11:30 or so. From the second stop, the picnic area, one group will experience a nature hike, while the other will participate in a nature game, birding walk or other activity. Bus leaves about 1 p.m. Volunteer at either or both stops. Log time under Pedernales Falls SP Training & Educating Others (Direct).
