We’re excited to share an upcoming webinar featuring Jordan Kueneman, ecologist and Founder and Director of Project GNBee (Ground-Nesting Bees), a community-science initiative focused on understanding and conserving native ground-nesting bees across agricultural and managed landscapes. Participants will learn about:
- The diversity and ecological importance of ground-nesting bees
- Their role in pollinating specialty crops and supporting agricultural systems
- The economic value of native pollination services
- Practical methods for documenting nesting aggregations, including habitat, soil, and phenology data collection
- How growers, land managers, extension professionals, and community members can participate in Project GNBee
This will be a great session for anyone interested in pollinator ecology, applied conservation, and monitoring approaches!
