Webinar Description:
This webinar will overview the first three years of the North American Bat Monitoring Project in Texas with particular emphasis on species affected by white-nose syndrome (tricolored bats and cave myotis) and those affected by wind energy (hoary bats, red bats, and silver-haired bats). We will explore species relationships with landcover and weather.
Bio:
Sarah Fritts is a broadly-trained wildlife ecologist and Certified Wildlife Biologist that has been focusing on renewable energy ecology for two decades, leading to work on bats across Texas.
