*Tuesday, April 29. Start at 10 am. Help a group of homeshoolers learn how to geocache and letterbox with GPS and compasses. Log under Pedernales Falls SP Training & Educating Others (Direct).

*Thursday, May 1. 8 a.m. - noon. Help with a Big Sit Birding Classic event for the public along the river. If assisting / training the public, log under Pedernales Falls SP Public Outreach (Indirect). If bird survey, log under Pedernales Falls SP Field Research.

Monday, May 5, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Eight classes. For both Bridges to Birding and Going Buggy, log your volunteer hours on VMS under Balcones Canyonlands NWR Training and Educating Others (Direct).

*Saturday, May 10, 10 a.m. – noon. Staff an HLMN booth/station at Back to the Blanco, the free community day at the park. Need three to four volunteers to talk about table-top displays, discovery trunk items and the Master Naturalist program. Log hours under Blanco SP Public Outreach (Indirect).

*Monday, May 12. One to two volunteers are needed to help with education stations for 3rd-grade students’ field trip. Log hours under Blanco SP Training and Educating Others (Direct).

*Thursday, May 15. At least five volunteers are needed to lead nature hikes for 3rd-graders. Meet in the parking lot of the Margaret Bamberger Research & Education Center, 3572 Blue Ridge Drive near Johnson City, by 9:30 a.m. and bring a sack lunch.
