Good ole fishin’ on the river! Assist Ranger Steve; help park visitors (adults and children) bait, catch and release different types of fish in the Pedernales River. Meet down at Deep Lake (along Hackenburg Loop, about 3/4 mile hike from parking lot along easy terrain.) Look for the Ranger’s truck.
Highland Lakes Native Plant Society of Texas hosts Deedy Wright and Garden and xeriscape design with native plants. Deedy will present her process in converting non-native and invasive plant landscapes to a “Cue of Care” approach resulting in a biodiverse plant and wildlife ecosystem.
