Initial Training – Urban Ecosystems

- Unit 21: Urban Ecosystems with LETMN member and Master Gardener Emmy Ulmschneider. Learn about the importance of our urban environments and what we can do as individuals to manage and conserve important resources like water. The morning session will go from 9-noon at Sibley Nature Center. There will be a break to travel to Emmy’s home where you will be able to see her amazing front and side yards that have native grasses and flowers, fruit trees, rock landscaping, water catchments and more (12:30-2:30). The weather looks nice, so be prepared to be inspired and delighted!

- Information on preparing for this session was sent in a previous email, but please find the Unit 21: Curriculum Guideand Unit 21: Urban Ecosystems Background Learning documents attached here as well. The Unit 21: Online Review was sent to you earlier this morning, so please complete that at your earliest convenience before Saturday. The OR is worth an additional 0.5 hours of I.T. with a 100% score.
