Big Thicket Tree Planting #2

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day the Big Thicket National Preserve will host their second Native Plant planting event at 9am.
Every year, the Big Thicket hosts 3 dates in winter to plant longleaf pine seedlings. This year, they are adding native grasses as well.
You’ll need to register by calling the Big Thicket Visitor’s Center to reserve your spot. This is a popular event for volunteers! They’ll let you know where to meet. (409) 951-6700.
