LRMN Eagle Count

LRMN records bald eagles spotted around Toledo Bend Lake every January.

To help us count eagles, join our early morning meet up in Hemphill at the courthouse parking lot on the north side.

Bring binoculars, pen/pencil, clipboard, etc. Dress warmly. Bring your own coffee/drinks/snacks.

There are 3 routes around the lake – North, Middle, South – so we will need 3 drivers.

Fred’s 2nd Saturday birding at Martin Dies Jr. State Park will also be taking place on this day from 8am – 10am.
