AT – Controlled Burns – Why, How, When

We’re hoping to have a controlled burn on the Gazebo Nature Preserve property this year and Matthew Garrison, Forester in the Livingston District will be front and center on that project. He’ll join us Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 11 am to talk about the Why, How, and When’s of Controlled Burns.

This FREE 2-hour event will offer 2 hours of Advanced Training to Master Gardeners and be of great owners to property owners in Polk and surrounding counties. Coffee and snacks will be available, and all attendees are free to bring their lunch.

A 30 minute Piney Wood Lakes TMN chapter meeting will precede the talk, and begin at 10:30 am.
