Gazebo Nature Preserve Presentation

The GNP Steering Committee would like current preserve volunteers and all chapter members to join us as we give a presentation on the Gazebo Nature Preserve for Polk County and ETEC officials and other guests that are involved with the Preserve. This will be a chance for these GNP Partners to meet and greet chapter members! This is a project planning and strategizing meeting, in lieu of the regular scheduled September monthly work day. Judge Murphy and Commissioner Precinct 1 Robertson have closely advised and been involved with the Steering Committee since the creation of the nature preserve. We will review existing projects and discuss ideas for new projects. We will also address a dedicated GNP workday Saturday before the last Tuesday of the month for the member who have a weekday daytime job. Current volunteers will be recognized and interested chapter members encouraged to join in to help improve the Gazebo Nature Preserve at Lake Livingston Dam. Members will learn how to participate through-out the year.  (You may get a sneak peak at a proposed herp project!) We hope to see you on Sept. 30th!
