๐ŸŒผ Join us October 8 for nature walks, activities for kids, and crafts and games at Nature Fest 2022

September 11, 2022 by Layne Cassidy

Ready to get outside this fall and enjoy nature?  Join the Texas Master Naturalists at Nature Fest 2022 on October 8 to celebrate and learn about the natural areas and resources that make the state of Texas great! This 4th annual outreach event is presented by the Prairie Oaks Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Follow the event on Facebook

Bring your family and friends to learn about the natural world as you stroll through informational tables and activities in an outdoor fair-like atmosphere. A few of the organizations that are slated to come include the Fort Worth Nature Center, Lake Mineral Wells State Park, Lake Brownwood State Park, Texas Bluebird Society, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and the TSU Chapter of the Wildlife Society.ย

Join these organizations and participate in learning activities about insects, snakes, animal tracks, furs and skulls, as well as take a nature walk or do some geocaching. We are continuing to add new tables and activities daily. It is free and will be a great experience for people of all ages. Do not miss this exciting and fun way to learn!

This event takes place October 8, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the Bosque River Trail Nature Center located in Stephenville, Texas at 735 East Long Street.

Enjoy activities for kids and adults and learn about the natural world.
