The chapter would like to extend a special thank you to our retiring training class director Dr. Lynn Wood. We appreciate his work in coordinating the training class since 2020.
A special thank you also goes to Dr. Linda Wood who served as assistant training class director. Thank you for your time and dedication to the chapter.
Particularly, being our directors during COVID, the chapter would like to thank Lynn and Linda for continuing to deliver on the mission of the Texas Master Naturalist program.
Since 2020, Lynn and Linda have:
- Led more than 70 community and Tarleton members in 40 hour initial training classes
- Certified 24 graduates who completed a total of 960+ hours of volunteer service in the community
- And now have 37 graduates still active in December 2022
