This past September, the LISD PTO was awarded a Reaching for Excellence $10,000 grant from the Texas Department of Health โ€“ School Health and Safety. As part of this grant, a new outdoor classroom/pavilion is currently being constructed.

The LISD PTO, invited POMN members to be a part of the inaugural ribbon cutting event, on Wednesday, May 10th from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Chapter members worked booths about soil, weird insects, beavers, doodle bugs, rainwater, and animals!
