A visit to Donna and Steve Clark, class of 2019, is a visit to a small piece of the Cast Iron Forest. Invitations are extended to TXMN to see Blackjack Oak, Post Oak, Gum bumelia, Pricklyash, and more in a natural setting. Donna and Steve have added a butterfly meadow and collected other native species surrounding their home. Beautyberries, Standing cypress, Autumn Sage to name a few.
Most unique is the cat feeder Donna came up with to be able to feed her cats, and not the raccoons. A deer feeder wrapped in electric wire keeps the raccoons from climbing the feeder and emptying it in a night. The Clarks live in Comanche county. Ask Peggy Tolboom for contact information.
