The Prairie Oaks Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program includes community members and Tarleton State University students who share a passion for protecting and learning about the natural world.
Serving Our Communities
Our volunteers are trained to provide education, outreach, and hands-on service throughout Palo Pinto, Erath, Hamilton, and Comanche counties.
Our keystone projects include stewardship of the Bosque River Nature Center and organizing our annual Nature Fest in October. Whether restoring habitat, leading nature walks, or sharing native plant knowledge, weβre here to make a difference β one volunteer hour at a time.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Tarleton State University serve as sponsors for the program.
