3 days of nature themed classes built around a river clean up on Saturday.
Attendance can be full time: bring a camper or tent and stay at Little L Ranch.
Part time: commute from home or a motel in Glen Rose or Cleburne, then come and go as you please.
If coming Saturday only: show up at 8 am and join the group floating the Brazos in search of tires, trash, and treasures.
Throughout the weekend, classes will be offered by Master Naturalist instructors on nature related topics. Previous topics covered include: the monarch life cycle, nature journaling, collecting plants for herbariums, building plant presses, the Brazos River water snake, mothing, astronomy, planet walks (not to be confused with plant walks), bird walks, river, ecology, geology, etc. (as well as guest speakers on topics from herps to hawks).
