Join us for a tour of Western Cross Timbers prairie remnants and natural areas at Proctor Lake, which is a Corp of Engineers Lake on the Leon River in Comanche Co. There is one rare plant species known locally in Erath and Comanche County and found at Lake Proctor, with a state rank of S3. In Texas, it is only known in 18 counties. We will meet at 8:45am just before the entrance to Copperas Creek Park. There is a $5.00 entrance fee. See the address below for directions.
