We will be having an outreach booth at this year’s Comanche Pow-Wow on Saturday, October 28th. This will be a great opportunity to connect with lots of people in the community! In addition to telling visitors about our organization, we will have some tree themed information and activities. Volunteers are needed to work the booth any time between the hours of 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. I will pass around a sign up sheet at our next chapter meeting or you may contact me if you would like to sign up. I also need LOTS of “tree cookies” for the necklace craft we will have available at the event. I have attached a picture of some samples Lynn Wood provided that my girls and I decorated so that we could test out different art supplies. If you are able to make some, please bring them to the September chapter meeting or I can come by and pick them up. We can also use these at our fall event or any upcoming outreach booth so we can never have too many!
