Nature Fest, our first annual fall outreach event, is coming up on Sunday, October 27th and we still have plenty of volunteer spots available.  A event flyer is attached for more information. This is going to be a great event and we hope that all members will be able to come out and participate! Below is a brief description of the stations, including who has already signed up. Please let me know what area you can help out with and I’ll be in touch. The event starts at 3 so we will need volunteers to get there prior to that time to help set-up. And most booths will pack up around 7 as we transition into the night activities. As it gets closer to the event, I’ll send out details on setup times, parking, etc.

David Owens with Lake Mineral Wells State Park will be leading the Star gazing portion of the event so we will need some volunteers to stick around from 7-9 to assist visitors and help with clean-up. Even if you can’t be there the whole time, we can still use your help. Thanks!
