The Pollen Trackers citizen science campaign is in full swing again as mountain cedars (Ashe juniper, Juniperus ashei) are starting to release pollen. We are doing our second season of monitoring and are looking for more participants for the next month. Texas Master Naturalists have played a key role in the project so far, and we’re hoping to get some more volunteers in the Prairie Oaks chapter area so we can get the observations that are required to create model cedar fever exposure.
