The pollinator garden at Lake Mineral Wells State Park is now ready for volunteers. Beginning this Saturday the 20th the park is allowing up to ten people to volunteer at a time. To be good examples to park visitors, please wear a face mask. Bring your own tools for weeding along with buckets, insect repellent, hats, gloves, water and snacks.
The pollinator garden is at the administration building, just before the kiosk to get into the park. The park is located on Highway 180 between Weatherford and Mineral Wells.
Please let me know if you plan to attend by email in the event that more than ten volunteers want to participate.
