We will once again be conducting the Proctor Lake Christmas Bird Count. Last year was a success, and with lake levels low we may see shorebirds and waterfowl. Maybe this is the year we break 100 species! The Proctor Count will be held Friday, December 16th and the Whitney Count will be Sunday, December 18th. Both Waco and Stephenville host counts on the 17th, so if you are so inclined you could make quite the weekend of it.
Please consider sharing these fliers and maps with your students, members, etc. The more volunteers we get, the better.
